I always love working with Mim on various musical projects because I know the end result will be fully realized.

Who You're Working With

A bit about Mim.

If you'd like to see who I am as an artist, check out my website — It includes upcoming gigs and links to listen to my music.

I'm a New York-based vocalist, composer, arranger and educator from Adelaide, South Australia. I have over 25 years of experience with music notation software, writing for my own projects and collaborators as well as for students and ensembles. I have produced hundreds of charts, arrangements and transcriptions — and learned early on that a clear chart meant a smoother rehearsal, less time wasted, and better results.

Now based in New York, I've had the privilege of working with some remarkable artists and organisations, including:

  • Peter Eldridge of the New York Voices
  • Lauren Kinhan of the New York Voices
  • Theo Bleckmann, vocalist and multi-disciplinary artist
  • Kate McGarry, jazz singer and songwriter
  • Caroline Davis, saxophonist
  • The Westerlies brass quartet
  • New York Stage & Film
  • MCC Theater

Whatever the genre or instrumentation — vocal lead sheets, big band scores, string quartets — I really enjoy helping people get their ideas from their brains and their ears to the page in the clearest way possible.
